PopSugar – Jennifer and Justin Have a Big Apple Day While She Makes Big Plans
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux went shopping together at Barneys in NYC yesterday. On Saturday night, before their shopping trip, the couple dropped by Nobu, where Jennifer donned her new hipster glasses, and Justin kept warm in a green jacket. Jennifer is in the Big Apple to tend to promotional duties for her new Living Proof web series, Good Hair Day. While doing press for the new series, Jennifer’s longtime friend and stylist Chris McMillan caused a bit of controversy when he revealed that he was stoned when he created the “Rachel” cut back in 1994. However, he noted that he has been 14 years sober so he “feels safe” admitting to his secret now.
Jennifer and Justin have been reportedly busy planning their upcoming wedding. The two were allegedly supposed to get hitched back in the Spring, but the date got pushed back. Aside from her nuptials, Jennifer has another big goal on the horizon – she wants to direct. She said in an interview that she hopes to direct a full-length feature within the next five years.

After taking a short break from making films last year, Jennifer has been packing her schedule with exciting new roles. She wrapped up filming for Dallas Buyers Club earlier this year and is also reportedly in talks to join Steve Carell in Disney’s live-action film adaptation of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Jennifer’s husband Ben Affleck has talked about cutting back on work following his Oscar win so that Jen can focus on her films. During the April premiere of To the Wonder, Ben said he’s a “Mr. Mom” with the kids now that Jen is taking on several new movies.

Jennifer Aniston put her fit frame on display last night when she attended the LA premiere of Call Me Crazy: A Five Film in a black Christian Dior ensemble. She was joined by another Jen – Jennifer Hudson – who stars in the film alongside an A-list cast that includes Melissa Leo, Octavia Spencer, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, and Jennifer Aniston’s buddy Chelsea Handler. The film deals with mental illness and Jennifer serves as an executive producer for the movie as well as the Five series, which airs on Lifetime. She opened up about the touchy subject that dominates her new film at the Call Me Crazy’s opening last night, admitting that she and her producing partners picked the subject because it affects so many people. Jennifer said, “We were sort of banging our heads around for the second round of Five and this sort of came to us and it’s because so many people have been affected or someone you know is affected.”
Even though Jennifer attended the event without fiancé Justin Theroux, he and the couple’s upcoming nuptials were still a hot topic of the night. She said she still hasn’t picked out a wedding dress, despite earlier reports that she would tie the knot soon after she wrapped up filming for the still-untitled film based on an Elmore Leonard novel.

His milestone came after dad Ben picked up the best picture Oscar for Argo last weekend. Ben showed off his fresh face at the TED Conference in Long Beach, CA, where Reese Witherspoon also made an appearance.
