PopSugar – Angelina Wraps Up Her Tropical Trip With Her Boys

Angelina Jolie wrapped up her trip to Hawaii with Pax and Maddox yesterday when the trio touched down in LA. The family had been staying in Oahu after arriving earlier this week. Angelina was in the islands to scout out locations for her upcoming project, Unbroken. The film, which will be based on the World War II novel by Laura Hillenbrand, will be Angelina’s second big directorial effort since she was also behind the cameras for 2011′s In the Land of Blood and Honey. The film just got a Dec. 25 release date for next year, so we might be seeing a lot more of the Jolie-Pitt crew taking in all Hawaii has to offer in the coming months. That’s good news for Pax, who showed off his impressive surfing skills in Hawaii on Wednesday. Click through to see all the photos from Angie’s trip to the islands.

PopSugar – Angelina Jolie and Her Travel Pal Pax Return Home After Diplomatic Stop

Angelina Jolie and her son Pax touched down in LA yesterday after an important visit to NYC. Angie spoke to the United Nations Security Council at the UN’s New York headquarters yesterday to insist that war-zone rape be a priority, calling it a “crime against humanity.” It was her first time sitting before the council, and as a special envoy for the UN Refugee Agency, she’s been focused on putting major international crises and global displacement issues into the spotlight for years. Angelina shared stories of survivors she’s met around the world and added, “You set the bar. If the . . . council sets rape and sexual violence in conflict as a priority, it will become one, and progress will be made. If you do not, this horror will continue.” Her words made an impact, as the council soon adopted a resolution to help end war-time violence by increasing monitoring efforts and providing assistance to survivors. Earlier that day, she was also seen at JFK Airport with her son Pax, who carried a giant stuffed animal as the pair walked together.

This comes just days after Angelina Jolie held a press conference in Jordan in honor of World Refugee Day, hoping to draw attention to the number of refugees coming out of war-torn Syria. The actress is back to her philanthropic work after traveling with Brad Pitt and their kids during promotions for his new film, World War Z.

PopSugar – Angelina Jolie Returns to the Red Carpet With Brad, Maddox, and Pax

Brad Pitt had fiancée Angelina Jolie, who wore a black Saint Laurent gown, on his arm to premiere World War Z in London yesterday. He also had the support of his sons, Maddox and Pax, at the event. The premiere marks Angelina’s first public appearance since announcing the news that she underwent surgery for a preventative double mastectomy last month. She stayed close to Brad for the red carpet festivities, which also brought out Matthew Bellamy and his Muse bandmates. Brad has been busy promoting the film leading up to its release in the US on June 21, and yesterday he made a surprise appearance at a World War Z screening in London. Brad and Angelina are not the only stars currently in the UK since last night’s Chime For Change benefit concert had Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, and more sharing the stage at London’s Twickenham Stadium.

Angelina stepped out in support of Brad on the heels of a sad occasion since her aunt Debbie Martin passed away after a battle with breast cancer last week. Angelina is still in the midst of preventative measures as she announced that she plans to have her ovaries removed as well due to the BRCA gene, which increases her risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
